School
Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The Sunday School Department provides a
major focal point of learning and fellowship at First Baptist
Church and is a vital part of our overall Christian educational
program.
Junior High....
...A graded Bible curriculum is used that is geared toward
meeting the special needs of those in the class. There is study
through the books of the Bible as well as topical studies.
Senior High....
... A graded Bible curriculum is used that is geared toward
meeting needs and grounding students in the fundamental truths
of the Word of God.
Jr. & Sr. High
Youth Group
Junior High....
... Grades 7 through 9 meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
September through April and 7:00 p.m. May through August. This
program offers a Bible-centered curriculum that will ground the
teenager in the truths of God's Word.. Teens are encouraged in
the areas of Scripture memorization and daily quiet time with
God. Special social times are also part of this program.
Senior High....
... Grades 10 through 12 meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
September through April and 7:00 p.m. May through August. This
program again offers a Bible-centered curriculum that is geared
to meet the changing needs of our young people. Christian
service, scripture memorization and daily quiet time with God is
also encouraged and promoted. In addition to the Bible studies
there are periodic retreats, social trips, missions trips, and
projects. Some of these activities are joint functions with the
Junior High.
