First Baptist Church is an independent, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church. Our goal as a group of believers is to have a conduct comparable to the life of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our mission is:

• To spread the gospel of Jesus Christ here in DuBois and around the world
• To teach believers what our Lord Jesus Christ said
• To encourage all believers to do what the Lord Jesus Christ said

Our desire is to be a warm, friendly church who enthusiastically welcomes visitors. Our methods for accomplishing our mission are diverse as you will see on the other pages.If you do not have a church home, or are presently looking for a place where you can find good Christian fellowship and consistent Bible teaching, we would be happy to talk with you.
