Youth camp starts Monday morning and our guys are really excited (the picture above includes mostly our guys from youth who will be attending camp). I'm excited as well! God has been directing in many ways and seems to have a specific plan for which teens will be at this camp. I won't go into all of the details right now, but I really believe that God has an exciting week in store for us. I just want to ask you to pray us through the week. Please don't just pray for safety or a good time, though I'd be thankful for such prayers. But more than that, pray for each teen's spiritual life. I think that my desire for each of them can best be expressed by the words of a Tenth Avenue North song: "Lord, empty my hands, fill up my heart, capture my mind with You!" That's what I'm praying for in the lives of our teens- that they would begin to let go of some of the things they've been clinging to, surrender their hearts to God and become enthralled with God Himself.
Expect great things: "Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, to Him be the glory..."
