"Their worth will not be measured by the number of degrees they acquire, but by the number of lives they touch. And so, as every teacher knows, we must simply invest what we have into the ones God has given us- we must give them our time, our attention, our knowledge, and most of all, our love! And we leave the rest in God's hands." This is a good reminder for me in my role as "teacher". Thanks Ben.
I love the verses that precede Ecc. 3:14..."He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor--it is the gift of God." ....so much to learn from these verses!
I will be praying for the day that Thabo opens his mind and heart to Jesus!
